Make a joyful noise unto the world!

It's Christmas Eve and I've just come from Church and the annual Chinese food dinner. Emily and I just tracked Santa over the U.K. (thanks to NORAD), and we're about to go and open a gift!

Awesome!

Here's a picture of the Christmas Tree on Boston Common donated by Halifax all dressed up!

Have a Merry Christmas everybody, no matter your faith. Love one another and give thanks for those around you. Have a good night!

Project: Red Sheep

Project: Red Sheep
Timeframe: Thursday December 14th, 3am - Friday December 15th, 8:15.
Outcome: FAILURE

Well, moving on. Child's Play happened recently; for anyone who doesn't know it's a fund raiser that happens every year (for the last three anyways) put together by the guys over at Penny-Arcade to help brighten up kids holidays, and happens to be my general charity of choice (not that I don't donate elsewhere, but this is the one I've made sure to do every year). What it allows gamers all over the world to do is buy gifts for kids in children's hospitals or to donate to the charity itself and they'll do it for you. Basically in three years it looks like they might top two million dollars which is for lack of a better term... awesome.

In other news, just one more test to go and I'll be done and on my way home. I can also see the floor of my room for the first time in a while which is pretty cool. Other than that, I don't know what else to add right now really. I'll guess I'll go away until I have something more exciting to say then.

Since starting at sundown today (well... friday anyways) there's a holiday on, Happy (C)Han(n)a(u?)k(ch/kk)a(h) for all those of the Jewish faith out there!

My mind is gooey with overflowing apathy.

So, it's bloody frakkin' early in the gorram morning.

And I'm up.

Yeah. But here's the thing. I turn on the T.V. and start flipping the channels towards CBC. Thought I'd get me some news.

Now, I don't know why but here I am watching a show about a storm. The main reason I stopped was because there was Kaylee on the screen. Well, no not Firefly. But there was Jewel Staite (looking mighty fine I might add) on the television talking about reading cards or something. And it just started getting weirder after that. She was talking about Anakin Skywalker in this show (that for some reason I'm still watching... I don't know either). Again, her character wasn't talking about Star Wars; Hayden Christenson on screen not three feet away. The best part? He's doing his whole bat-shit predatory insane about an older woman thing. A councilor or something like that. SHE even looks like the detective from the original CSI series. Five minutes of footage and I still can't tell if it's her or not.

And 'D' just walked into the show. She's even angsting over deaths and the men in her life. Yep. That's Anastasia Dualla currently of the Battlestar Pegasus. A.K.A. Klandyse McClure. Christ where the hell did this come from? Oh! And Hayden just went insane seeing ghostly apparitions of provocatively nightgown clad women in his head. Yeah... what the hell am I watching? All I can make out so far is that they're all in crazy camp together. Which... actually doesn't surprise me somehow in all this.

I mean, putting Kaylee, Dualla, AND Anakin together would be a recipe for disaster. What a crossover episode that would be though.

And oh dear lord I've seen more jealous looks in the last five minutes than anyone should. I think the show was called Higher Ground, but I'm not sure on that one. Really I'm not going to bother looking it up either. Okay this post was NOT supposed to be about this at all. I didn't even get to my recent exploits in the realms of almost setting myself on fire (ruined two pretty shirts too, pictures to come later) and not being dead yet. Several missions to attend to right now though. Holy crap has this been a busy week for me. I haven't had much of the life recently (until tonight that is. Seriously though, you should see my calender. Just packed.)

However, the fast has been broken, wonderful life giving caffeine ingested, and the iPod all charged up and ready to roll. Library's open in a half hour now so it's time to head on out! Excelsior!

Please dear sweet baby Jesus this day needs to end.

POST EDIT: The lady wasn't the CSI lady, but the show afterwords has Nathan Petrelli from Heroes investigating 'miraculous phenomenon.' I need to leave now. Save the Cheerleader, save the World.
