Must...keep...going...

Too much work. Too little food.

The good news is that I'm enjoying subway again (joy!).

The bad news is that I don't really have the money for it, and I have too much work to revel in the pleasure of the sub.

Curses!

But Toronto beat Buffalo, Josh is gone from the Ultimate Fighter competition, The athletic banquet is this Thursday (food and shenanigannery!), and Ben and I think we've figured out what exactly we're going to do to accomodate the people coming to visit us. So that's all good. Thank God for Fridays, at least I'll have time to clean the place before hand. Well as much as it can be cleaned.

This essay isn't going very well though. Oh well.

I'm so dead, but I need sleep!

Alright, the essay is cruisin' now which is good. I've got about two pages down and a working outline to continue. My biggest problem right now is boiling down the disturbing amount of information I have into coherant thoughts, arguments, and ideas without going off on tangents. Which is hard since in almost every source I have the author somehow manages to do so repeatedly. It is however nearly 4a.m., my eyes are watering, more tea will make me throw up/destroy my digestive tract, and my computer is rebooting itself now. I like that about Wedge, he's not one to sit back and take the abuse and punishment until he breaks, au contraire! He has no qualms about shutting himslef down for a few seconds in order to tell me to go to bed and let him rest. And to tell me that that last page I'd written and not saved wasn't anygood and I didn't need it anyhow. And low and behold! The autosave didn't catch it, it was currupted data and quite worthless! YES! I just love this whole school thing! Woot woot!

[uncontrolable sobbing starts now]

Okay, that's better.

Wedge's fan is making odd noises. Hmm... think I should clean it out soon. Anyways it is almost four and though Katy has threatened me with death if I didn't have five pages done by morning I need to sleep on the info running through my head, also the ipod she leant me was running low on the batteries, and I didn't want to have it all used up when I give it back to her. It helped a lot though I still don't like some of her music at all. Oh well, I know where the next button is without looking.

Oh, so after two and one half days of charging I managed to ressurect Winter back from the dead. The poor little palm pilot has sever amnesia though and has forgotten everything. Which really sucks. A lot. Damn. At least my chronograph is back and I can stop not knowing what time it is. And for everyone with a crappy monitor, I feel your pain. Literally. Dack makes my eyes feel like they're going to bleed. Actually the only hardware working right at all is Jek! And he's the fat lasy printer! Well, poor Biggs hasn't been used (no time for games :'( I can't wait to start blowing up things again when shcool ends!) so I'm not counting him, but he's probably working fine.

For those of you very lost right now, I name my nice electronicy things, and if you don't know where the names come from I'll be only too happy to let you know! They are as follows;

Wedge - My intrepid computer
Zev - Monitor
Biggs - Joystick
Jek - The fatty fat fat lazy mclaziness printer
Winter - Palm Pilot
Tyree - The under-appreciated N64
Ooryl - External hardrive
The Solo Kids - Walkie-talkies (yes there are three)
Nawar'aven - The T.V. (of joy!)
Threepio - VCR
Jan - The Nintendo DS

I think that's all of them, though if anyone reminds me of one I should have mentioned, trust me they all have names and the names all have reasons. Read the title banner again, you'll notice being a 'geek' is right after my declaration of being 'male'. This is what I do in my spare time. Shut up, it's normal! I'll leave you with Free Yo'Self by Captain Tractor:

We were born to be wild we were born to smell the roses
Not to kiss some deadbeat's butt or pick their noses
We were born to run free through the hills and through the valleys
We were born under blue skies not concrete alleys

We were born to be wild
We were born to be free
Come with me

We'll be shrivelled in a chamber with the sunlight blotted out
Feast on true winds no need to find out
We've got fire in our veins we've got piss and vinegar
We've got blood sweat and tears and apple pie

We've boxed ourselves in four blank walls
We've put ourselves on wheels
We listen for the spiteful calls of hounds at our heels
I don't believe in prefab souls
I don't believe in hate
My world is made of passion and the fires of fate

So let's get up off our asses
Take the blinders off our eyes
Grab a chance before it passes
To live beyond the lies
We were born to fall in love we were born to be lovers
Just to live is not enough
You've got to love one another

Gotta free yo'self

You've gotta:
Break the chains
Break the rules
Get it right
Go to school
Bake a cake
Milk a cow
Scratch my back (I'll show you how)
Zone right out and
Float in space
Shake your butt all over the place
Put your doubts up on the shelf
Take off your clothes

Early to bed and never rising?

I'm soooo tired. I don't know why. I've even been doing work and I've tried to be productive, not even staying out late or drinking or anything like that. And yet I'm tired almost all the time. Cursed diseases! I even put the Star Wars rpg on hiatus until after exams. I know. ME, put off GAMING?!? Egad. Time for liquid refreshment from the fridge.

Oh and Maria has been having WAY to good a week. I'm almost jealous.

Oops!

Real quick.

I forgot to gloat over the 14 - 6 tutorial the Rock handed Anaheim Sunday. Bob Watson gets better and better between those pipes and if Doyle and Sanderson keep having 7 point games, I don't see how we can lose! I don't want to short change Blaine Manning though, but he only had a six point game. Granted the Storm are in last place (I think only Minnesota has a worse record, and it wouldn't be by much, and their an expansion team anyway so it's okay) but I'll take the win to be a half game back on the Bandits. That's right Buffalo, we're coming for ya!

Well we'll see if we can keep it going this Friday in Arizona who have been nothing if not solid. I think they're only a game back in the West... But I don't think they can take either the Roughnecks or the Mammoth unfortunately.

On a Plain - Nirvana (still)

Oh she locked it!

There's only so much I can't care about the Union Nationale in Quebec. On the plus side, in lectures we're entering WWI so it's not all about the labor disputes. Woot! Oh, and I can't take much more of this bug, it's suprisingly difficult to write 3,000 words on the subject of the Emerald Ashborer.

Okay this is just my break before I go back to typing so I'm going to keep it short. I've been thinking about the whole summer job thing that I'm going to have to do if I want to 1: have a place to sleep, and 2: have food to eat. It's slowly starting to look like Fort York may not be the most viable option. Though it would be one sweet job. Yes I know, I'm nuts, but it sounds like so much fun!

I went in to visit the working stiffs at Starbucks and Chapters today, and found them both in the same place! Katy was about to go on her break and was at the counter at everyones favorite coffee megacorporation, being served by non other then Nicole, everyones favorite megacorporations employee! She was also about to go on break which was nice because we got to chat for a bit before she had get behind the counter again. Oh, I should also mention that I made Maria's day even sweeter today by tracking down Zebraman on dvd for rent. She actually pranced up and down the hallway giggling. I kid ye not. If there's any one sight one should see before they go, it's a grown woman giggling and prancing in a hallway because they're so happy.

Alright, enough time wasting Jae, back to the grindstone.

I hope Katy didn't lock the bathrooms...

Just finished up another successful Star Wars session. They're starting to end later and later it seems, but I think I'm getting better at keeping it shorter though. No fights today to speak of, though it did seem that Ren (Joe) was trying really hard to pick one at times. But that's okay, cause I screwed with his head a bunch. Tee hee! Of course he obliged by failing or succeeding where it was most joyously efficient for me. But that's all in the mechanics of the game!

I played cricket today!

So this weekend went by fairly quicky. Had a good time at the cast party last night with Katy, Danielle, and Maria. Haven't been to a club in a long time and it was a lot of fun except for two things; they didn't have milk, and it cost $5.75 per ounce of alcohol purchased. Needless to say I didn't drink much at all. Katy and co. complained about the lack of quality inherited by their long island ice teas, and my harvy wallbanger wasn't much up to par either. Afterlife is a pretty good dance club, but that's about it. I guess that's why they invented predrinking hunh?

Speaking of predrinking, it was Dan's 22nd birthday bash on Saturday night as well, and I got to go for a bit before meeting up with Maria to walk with her to Katy's (Dan's a great guy, but katy takes precedance :). It was actually quite fun! Though Josh wasn't drunk. I really have to tip my hat to his new girlfriend, that is one changed man (at the time, I had no hat so I shook her hand). I can quote Katy as proclaiming Josh as being the craziest drunk ever. Ha ha! sorry Josh-man, you're a good guy I don't want to be too hard on you! Afterwards they had gone to the Greenroom I believe for the social imbibing of alcohol, but I went out with Katy. It turns out I (or Ben actually since I was out dancing) had had some visitors in the night as well. Apparantly Nicole, Dan, and Keith all came by my place afterwords and said hello. Well, that's what I think Dan and Keith would have said if they'd been fully coherant. Poor Ben! Lol, oh those phone calls I got when they were on the blue line... and the letters, each ones letters got more and more abstract till I swear they gave me a letter with squiggly lines all over it. Those guys are great.

But we're down a pint glass, moment of silence please...

I should mention there that the dance show for the Only Human Dance Collective (Maria's dance club) was very good indeed. Ben even went and enjoyed it. Though I still don't know if he enjoyed the pilfered muffins more... those WERE good muffins but the show was superb. I was happy it went so smoothly and that all the lights I helped them with worked well, plus the VIP passes I earned for volunteering are what got me into the Afterlife cast party for free in the first place! Thanks Maria and thank you girls!

Well nothing much more to talk about really. I'm tired for once at a normal hour where I should be tired. Must be the cricket, dancing, and staying up late last night wearing on me. So time to go get the beauty rest, god knows I need it and I've got a nice long 'painversation' I need to finish with the Emerald Ashborer tommorow. I really hate this bug.

Oh yeah! So I've started asking others opinions, and it's looking like taking the job at Fort York (which would be a hell of a lot of fun) may bot be the best course of action for me. Since I want to do summer school it might prove impossible to work those hours at the same time. I'll still apply of course (another recommendation from my panel of experts), but I'm also now going to look into working at the Bank (my LEAST favorite option of the three), or a gig as a security guard. I asked Joe for info, and it seems it pays better and the hours would allow me to school myself with impunity.

I would also get to carry it over into the school year should I want too. The pay, hours, and extended workability seem to go in my favor. As well, that skill set could come in handy in the future I suppose... moreso then being an early 19th century British Grenedier.

So would working in the Bank, but that doesn't sound even remotely as interesting as the other two. Enh. I'll just be sure to apply to all three. Then choose from whomever wants me.

Need sleep now. Good night everyone!

If only I had no honor...

Then I could kill people and take their stuff and pretend it was mine. I have no idea why I'm up right now. I just woke up, dunno why. I think I may be running a fever though, and I've been having one of those dreams you can't remember for the life of you. I really dislike those dreams. I haven't posted for a LONG time. Well folks I'm back if for no other reason then I'm awake at six bloody zero nine on a tuesday morning. God I need sleep.

Things I'll have to post about at a decent hour:

Kickin' behind and takin' names at the Pandemonium Convention here in Toronto. Fear my Battlemechs. Fear my mastery of Napoleons armies. Fear my ability to shout down three Games Workshop mindslaves at once... no, better yet, just fear ME and my growing insanity.

Winning the Intramural Lacrosse Champions and winning the Cup. That was..intense is the only word I have and it doesn't do it justice. So much adrenaline I actually fell over when it ended I was so tired. But I did get to kiss a near one hundred year old silver trophy as its rightful victor. That was pretty sweet.

My recent marathon of techiness at the Bader theater to help the Only Human Dance Collective (read: Maria and a bunch of hot dancers are are anti-techno savvi) set up lights and hook up cables. I got fed Tim Hortons Coffee, Burwash, and got to break things with my bare hands (wonderful stress reliever) for VIC Drama. But I also had to get up 6:30, repeatedly lift heavy things, crawl around in the dust, and be honor bound to not do anything about the mass of excuisite feminimity all around me. The jury is out on whether it was a good idea yet. Though I did help them a lot. That counts.

Okay, have headache, will medicate. Going to try and sleep before I have to go to class again.

See ya Space Cowbows!

What part of it being 6 AM did you miss? No music!
