Phone is breaky.

Phone's broke, turns out they don't make very good hammers. Sometimes I really dislike stupid drunk people. So it's going to be in the repair shop for a week or so.

Shite.

Oh well, I'm so busy from school I shouldn't have a phone.

Well, I just met a random band from Philadelphia, 'Band on the Run'. Might show them around before their show. I'll have more to say later.

Late!

Hey now it's been a while between posts. It got busy with the schooling and whatnot really, and it's also just because I didn't think I had that much to talk about recently.

There has been some hangings out, a few anyways, and I went to houseparty that a girl from work threw last weekend. Probably wasn't in my best interest to get as little sleep as I did before my rugby game, but I really had a good time so it was worth it.

Also I think I've scared Johnny off sports forever because of how caked in mud I was when I got home from the game. What else is new in the world hm?

Well, baseball playoffs are in full swing, the bruins can't win, the pats won again, the revs lost their last game but are still in second place, and it looks like I might be shaving it very close as to whether I can get back home in time for Adam's birthday.

But hey. Life moves right?

Okay, back to the typing of notes. At least the Australian history ones are interesting... kind of.

Carnivorous joy!

So... much... meat...

Such is Korean BBQ in a nutshell. Following Ben's motto of; "You go, you stay until you pee meat", a group of good friends and pseudo strangers (to each other at least, I knew everyone there) came together to celebrate Julia's birthday and mine!

Lessee...

Laura, Dan, Nicole P., Katy, Joanna, Girl Alex, Alicia, Julia, Esther, Christine, Sunita, Boy Alex, and then myself to go around the table starting immediately on my left.

I am also the new proud owner of the Buffy musical episode soundtrack, as well as some new star wars minis!

I so got to geek out and then I was taken out and had a few beers and then got to geek out some more.

I'm... so... full...

Urge to fiddle.... RISING

Now that was interesting. Closed for the first time at the Starbucks today. And it was a very busy afternoon. At least that's what everyone else there said. The library this morning was most...

I really don't know how to say it well. For all the adaptability and depth inherent with the English language, and I'd like to think that I'm fairly proficient with said language, this feeling doesn't seem to have an accompanying adjective to describe it that I'm familiar with.

Unnervingly vengeance and fury inducing towards bookshelves. I... that didn't do it enough justice. I mean, I just became a vessel of pure rage and wrath after being in there for about five minutes. Five minutes after that and I got up and left to go sit in sid smith. On the plus side; I take some very interesting pictures of myself when playing with mac photobooth.†

Also I'm not exactly sure how that cross looking thingy got placed there... but it's kinda neato... so I'm going to leave it up above.

Odd isn't it?

Well tomorrow there shall be Korean BBQ eaten with celebratory flare! And Sunday I'm going to go see Johnny's show. Devora saw it tonight and reports that it was indeed, quite fantastically full of awesome (my words not hers).

I do hope Oakland takes the next four games from Detroit... actually I hope they win at least one game at the very least to stem the pain a bit. I'm with you in spirit Maria!

Marvel 1602: Better then I remembered

So the sister's been here this past weekend, as well as the Mother and Chip. It's been interesting, and two trips to the Old Spaghetti factory later I'm feeling a lot more full. With the pastas.

The pastas were joyously delicious of course!

So in the recent past I've been moved in for real full and good and finally got my crap out of Katy's family garage. I fought with the strep-throat that was handily defeated with the help of modern science and sleep, and of course have hung out with the family this past holiday weekend. There was even a pseudo-birthday celebration for my recent past day of birth at the Velvet Underground where I met Ana, Adam, Andrew, and Emily (who just had to have the name to throw off the alliteration and be all different). There will of course be an extravaganza of sorts in celebration of Libra's being cool and the awesomness that is Julia and I, later, but we figured we'd like people here for it so not on the holiday.

Lots of walking around, a harbour boat tour (thanks J.J.) and some interesting conversation. Maybe I'll explain that later. Maybe not though. Still haven't decided.

Hope everyone had good Thanksgivings/Indiginous Peoples Days (read: Columbus Day) and more to come later.

Man I'm beat, onwards to the REM cycle.
